Dulwich College, an International school with many European students, invited  Earth Society to conduct an Assembly talk for their Senior School students on 20 May.

On 20 May, we arrived at Dulwich College at 8.35 am. Mr Richard Lee, a senior school teacher, welcome us at the reception counter and escorted us into their school hall.

 

We conducted a Global warming talk for 200 senior school students from 8.50 till 9.30 am. We presented on how climate change is affecting various countries in the world and what can we do to reduce global warming. (plant trees, eat less meat, green energy, 3Rs). The students listened attentively to the talk and many students asked questions during the Q & A session after the talk. We observed that students in international schools are more willing to express their views on the topic presented.

When Mr Richard asked how many students are willing to go veggie 1 day a week to help to reduce climate change. Almost all the students raised their hands ! We are hugely encouraged by the enthusiastic response from the students and have more Hope for the future of the world.
